SAM recalls that this procedure applies to foreigners from countries of the European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the Kingdom of Northern Ireland. Foreigners from third countries can enter Lithuania only after obtaining permission from the responsible Lithuanian institutions, depending on the nature of the problem: the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Social Security and Labor, etc.

The list of countries from which entry is granted is updated weekly, taking into account epidemiological indicators in foreign countries.
