Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis says that even after the favorable situation for farmers in the Seimas elections in the fall, he no longer wants to work in the government.

I have not really worked in the government, I have never applied for the post of minister again, this is the fact, and I have already proven what the Minister’s bread is, and even more so is the Prime Minister. We talk today about what the price is. I don’t want to talk about that any more, because most of what is happening in politics is more than ema and slower, the prime minister said Thursday in an interview with TV3.

He also believes that if the opposition Social Democrats win the majority of the elections, they will choose the coalition partners as conservatives rather than peasants and allies.

However, if the Social Democrats win a majority and a warm coalition, I think it would be an initiative to consider the Lithuanian state and the union of countries. But I think, apparently, at least based on last year’s work and behavior, and coordinated actions today, the Social Democrats will likely invite Tvyns sjung coalition partners, S. Skvernelis said.

Last week, S. Skvernelis confirmed that he would participate in the Seimas elections for the Lithuanian State and the Alliance Union and in the single-member constituency of Pilaits-Karoliniki.

The Seimas elections will be held on October 11.
