J. Jankauskas will also help develop cooperation with the strongest women’s basketball team in the capital “Kibirkšties”. At the same time, he will hold the position of head of “Kibirkšties”.
J.Jankauskas became the head of the Vilnius “Kibirkšties” team a few months ago, and in 2017–2019 he also served as principal of the Capital Basketball School.
“Of course, this is the biggest challenge in my career and, at the same time, a great opportunity to work for one of the strongest Lithuanian sports organizations,” said J. Jankauskas. – It is gratifying that the “Rytas” club strives to contribute to the well-being of “Kibirkšties” by sharing its resources. Through honest, responsible and hard work, we can all achieve great results together.
Ryto klubas will assist the Kibirkšties team with the available infrastructure, clothing production, the search for new sponsors, joint projects and other important aspects that will help to establish a stronger foundation.
