Jamal Crawford, who started his NBA Chicago career, had the luxury of training with then-retired Michael Jordan, a 37-year-old Bulls rookie.

Self-assured Crawford willingly accepted the lessons of the club legend, although some of them also passed it through his pocket.

One was when a stubborn freshman believed he could beat Jordan in a three-point competition.

Crawford challenged the veteran and offered to bet on the money, for a thousand dollars for the scenario won. Young Jordan’s ruthless teammate defeated five times in a row and collected 5,000. euros

Seeing Crawford’s entourage, Jordan, caught up in passion, did not stop and made his offer.

“What car did you come with?” Jordan asked.

“Mercedes,” replied Crawford.

“I’m with Ferrari, let’s bet on our cars,” suggested Jordan.

The settled Jordan threw five of five points in the second game and left no hope for Crawford. On top of all that, Jordan hung Crawford’s license plate on the Mercedes car and drove home with the winning car.

In 2001 Jordan returned to the NBA and represented the Washington Wizards for three seasons. Crawford played in Chicago from 2000 to 2004.
