He reported it on his Facebook account.
“As soon as I entered the Seimas Chamber today, I received the news that my preventive test for Covid-19 was positive. After 15 minutes, he was home, where he would have to spend weeks there. However, this will not be a holiday, but an intense telework: I am calling the first meeting of the Culture Commission tomorrow morning, which I invite to see live or on tape. I am also starting a series of work meetings, which will also have to be transferred to the online space, ”the man writes.
He was so pleased that the Seimas today approved Ingrida Šimonytė’s candidacy for Prime Minister:
“In a word, life goes on, work goes on. It is very important that today Ingrida Šimonytė has been approved by the Seimas as Prime Minister, which means that a new Government will soon be approved, with which we will assume responsibility together.
Be healthy, protect yourself and your loved ones! “
Covid-19 was also approved for Andrius Kupčinskas
Shortly after V. Juozapaitis reported a positive response to the coronavirus test, Andrius Kupčinskas, a member of the TS-LKD party, shared the same message on his Facebook account of the social network.
“I came home with good news for Lithuania and less for me.
First of all, I congratulate the recently approved Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė del Seimas, who is now looking forward to the formation of a new Government and co-responsibility in this challenging period filled with Lithuania. It is a pity, but I could no longer cast my vote for the Prime Minister, I had to leave urgently and no longer attend the meeting.
Well, and the other, not so good news about it, that COVID-19 did not pass me by, and yesterday’s test is positive. Therefore, when I found out immediately and did not participate in one of the most important votes, I got in the car and flew to Kaunas. I don’t feel any symptoms, I feel great lately, but I will have to isolate myself. The strangest thing is that so far I have not received any official message, neither via SMS nor esveikāta.lt. By the way, before the meeting, I also went there and checked, aoskritai there is no record of yesterday’s tests so far. Only the Seimas Chancellery reported orally and I applied my skis. It was one of my shorter meetings, I didn’t have time for the computer to open, maybe I only signed in when I got a call.
Well, as it is, there is a lot of telework that will have to be arranged differently, and we will communicate remotely in the near future.
Protect yourself and your loved ones! “
