Requirements are increasingly stringent: every country in the world is included in the list of affected countries

Individuals arriving from any country will be required to have a test result performed within 48 hours. prior to arrival, or to carry out an investigation upon arrival in Lithuania. Isolation for 14 days is also mandatory, with the ability to shorten isolation on your own for 10 days after a coronavirus test.

All persons covered by the seclusion exemptions (see table “Seclusion Exceptions”) must have documents showing the intended exemption (with translation into Lithuanian, English or Russian), which they must provide to the National Center for the Public. Health (NVSC) upon request. Or officials who inspect compliance with containment requirements.

Starting Monday, February 8. Passenger checkpoints will be installed at all airports and seaports, where specialists from the NVSC and the State Border Guard Service under the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Lithuania will be on duty and carry out further control. The inspection will verify that travelers have correctly completed passenger questionnaires and that people have the results of a coronavirus diagnostic test, that is, a certificate of negative coronavirus test result. It will also be verified that people who have registered for a coronavirus diagnostic test have done so at the right time. Failure to investigate in a timely manner can result in administrative liability for individuals.

To avoid a large flow of people at the checkpoints, the Ministry of Health encourages travelers to responsibly complete the NVSC questionnaire and register with the Coronavir 1808 Hotline on the day of their arrival to conduct the study.

The list of affected countries is published every Friday, takes effect on Monday, and is valid for one week.
