Jolanta Mačiulienė, president of the Association of hairdressers and beauty specialists, told BNS that she did not understand the government’s decision.
“I think they mixed something up. I imagine we were talking about health services, maybe they can be provided in some spas, maybe what kind of device to put on the face or somewhere, but to perform the service in 15 minutes, we don’t have them, “he said.
At the time, Jūratė Jocienė, president of the Association of Estheticians and Cosmetologists, says that it is possible to perform eyebrow correction or chemical eyelash coloring in 15 minutes, but it is not worth providing these services alone.
“Even the shortest diagnosis takes some time, I’m not even talking about facial procedures, waxing, body procedures, nobody will do it in 15 minutes. Eyebrow correction can be so short, but I don’t know if it will solve anything, because that procedure costs very little, if it is worth it for a cosmetologist to come and sit all day waiting for several clients, ”J. Jocienė told BNS.
He also said that due to the difficult situation in the country, it is still possible to do without beauty services in general.
“It is necessary to be arrested, to reflect, in such a situation, beauty specialists may not perform such procedures, because the situation in Lithuania is threatening,” said J. Jocienė.
The government on Monday reviewed some of the decisions taken on Sunday to toughen quarantine conditions. 15 minute exceptions are provided only for medical, psychological, rehabilitation, attorney, mobile signature issuance.
The bans go into effect on Wednesday and will run until January 31.
