Repharm of Latvia acquired 33 medical clinics in Lithuania

Repharm, the largest private healthcare group in Latvia, has become the main shareholder of the Lithuanian companies UAB MediCa klinika, UAB Kardiolita, UAB Bendrosios medicinos praktika and UAB Svalbono klinika.

Mintos Mons operates two brands, MediCa Clinic and Cardiolitis Clinic. They are still managed by UAB CGP Management.

The mons acquired in 16 cities operate 33 clinics (3 specialized and 30 providing outpatient medical care services).

It is advertised as the largest private medical service provider in Lithuania.

The network also includes the Cardiolitis Clinic in Vilnius, the only hospital in Lithuania that provides private personal health care services for inpatients.

In 2019, the clinics employed more than 1,400 people (family doctor, specialist doctor, dentist and nurse) and health care services were provided to more than 128,300 registered patients.

During the transaction, Oaklins Lietuva acted as financial advisor to UAB CGP Management and the Glimstedt law firm provided the services of a legal advisor.
Repharm’s financial advisers were Baltic Partners and Superia; Cobalt Law Firm provided legal advice and PwC conducted a detailed clinical financial and tax inspection.

The value of the transaction is not disclosed.

UAB Repharm is a Latvian Moni group operating in the field of healthcare and providing a wide range of healthcare services, from advice on healthy lifestyle issues to diagnosis and treatment.

The managing company CGP Management also owns the UAB Nemuno vaistin, which only has the largest network of pharmacies in Lithuania, the pharmaceutical company Ingen Pharma, the distribution of advertising services that provide marketing services, the wholesale company Medicines Logistics and Distribution and the asset management company UAB CGP Management Estate.
