A. Veryga on the coronavirus record: we met, we communicated, we distributed

Health Minister Aurelijus Veryga says the record coronavirus infection is recorded for objective reasons.

According to him, as a result, there are no plans to introduce additional restrictions at the national level, more bans are imposed only in certain municipalities.

“The virus had not disappeared in Lithuania, we had it, even on the best days we didn’t have zero in the summer, and that’s where it spread. We meet, communicate and distribute, “the minister told reporters at Seimas on Thursday.

“There are certain things scheduled: we move, we communicate, we meet for work, we come back from vacation, we go to school. All the objective things that allow people to know, communicate and spread the virus. We will probably not find any special explanation “, said A. Veryga about the fixed anti-coronavirus registration.

According to him, so far the COVID-19 chimneys remain the same: Raseiniai, Radviliškis, Šiauliai.

According to the minister, this is where stricter measures are applied.

“Cities are already applying those measures, banning events, where they see that they are being intensely spread, educational institutions are going to distance education for a while, and employees are being sent to telework. The measures are applied only to the extent that they are not for the whole country ”, he explained.
