“The outbreak at this company is related to the family celebration in Salininkai. Currently, the company has already registered four illnesses. And this is the fifth secondary case of the outbreak in Salininkai,” the report said.
The confirmed case in Vilnius is related to the outbreak in the Kėdainiai district. The person is supervising a grandson infected with coronavirus on a farm in the Taurage district.
“He was investigating illnesses in the family. When he arrived at the farm on July 15, he did not visit any place because he had bought enough food,” reports NVSC.
In Utena county, the disease was confirmed to a person in Molėtai district, who has been isolated since July 18 because he had contact with the sick.
“Feel the symptoms of the disease: runny nose, muscle pain, no smell. The person was in contact with two family members, ”report public health specialists.
A coronavirus has been identified in Šiauliai in a person whose infection circumstances are not yet known. According to the NVSC, the patient has not gone anywhere, working in a store.
“He became ill on July 22. On returning from work at night, clinical symptoms appeared: fever. Until the illness, he did not work on July 21 because he had a day off. Two close contacts have been identified,” the report said. .
A total of 2008 people were infected with the coronavirus in Lithuania. Currently, 299 people are still infected with coronavirus and 1,616 have recovered.
80 people died from COVID-19, and 13 people died from other causes.
