R. Veryga doesn’t see AstraZeneca’s connection to thrombosis – I’ve been vaccinated even now

On Tuesday, A.Veryga told reporters at the Seimas that he had no reason to worry about the AstraZeneca vaccine, with which more and more people are refusing to get vaccinated in Lithuania as well.

“As I have a little understanding of those processes, I am more concerned that states are taking such measures (stop vaccination with this manufacturer’s vaccine – 15 minutes). Let us understand that in the absolute majority of cases these are political decisions.

After all, politicians accept them. When you confuse two things that are biological and political, and then you expect people to listen a lot to scientists, to experts, you don’t go out. Because those who decide are different from those who have knowledge, they have different visions, different ideas ”, he commented.

According to A.Veryga, the government should immediately think about how to restore confidence in vaccines. In his opinion, now that they are missing, it is still time to do so.

It will be difficult to get many of them delivered and convince people to get vaccinated.

Verery herself said she would be vaccinated with AstraZeneca.

“Of course, even now, if someone gave it to me,” said the former Minister of Health.

Of course, even now, if only someone would give it to me.

He explained that he did not see any link between the AstraZeneca vaccine and blood clotting problems. A.Veryga quoted the scientists as saying that what happens next to him or together with him does not mean that it happens because of him.

“Much of this speculation has been fueled, for example, by vaccines and autism. Two curves seem to travel together: child vaccinations and autism. Is there a connection here? That’s the number of cars we add next, I don’t know, the number of cell phones, the number of computers in the world. There are many things that can be put together that seem to be related, but there is no connection between them ”, said the parliamentarian.

When asked why most of the speculation is due to AstraZeneca vaccines, Veryga felt that it was possible to take and search data on how many people vaccinated with other vaccines had thromboembolic events.

He mentioned that if people stayed in hospitals without physical therapy, thrombi could form in their deep veins. They can break off at any time, travel to the lungs.

“And if it happened, for example, after vaccination, is it due to vaccination or not?” – said A.Veryga.
