According to data from the pre-trial investigation, on the afternoon of August 15, ambulance workers received a report that a man had fallen from a height of 20 feet in the Klaipėda amusement park. Upon arriving at the scene, the doctors found a young man lying on the ground. Sadly, a few days later, the young man died from serious injuries. Immediately after the incident, a pre-trial investigation was launched to investigate the circumstances of the person’s death.

During the investigation, data was obtained on the equipment used for entertainment, the safety requirements procedure, witnesses and employees of the amusement park who saw the incident were interviewed, video recordings of video cameras in the territory were carefully reviewed and examined. of the park and other relevant data for the investigation.

The disaster occurred when the victim had not tied a safety rope and lost his balance.

After evaluating all the data obtained during the investigation, it was established that in this case no crime had been committed, so the investigation should be terminated.
