“Seeing the positive signs and the decline of the pandemic, it is very important to ensure that the good news does not change and that we do not return to the situation we saw at the end of December. We support the proposed expert scenarios, which establish that certain steps of operating restrictions can be considered under certain conditions.
We agree that schools, kindergartens and socially vulnerable families are the places to be vacated first, when the epidemiological situation allows, ”added S. Krėpšta.
At the time, Mindaugas Sinkevičius, president of the Association of Lithuanian Municipalities, while acknowledging that the situation with Covid-19 in Lithuania was improving, noted that it was too early to significantly ease the quarantine.
