R. Pratasevičius’s mother, Natalija Pratasevič, alluded to the fact that her son may have ended up in hospital talking to the Belsat television channel.
The woman said that this information was provided to her by sources in the medical community, but N. Pratasevič herself does not yet know if the information is correct.
He also confirmed that R. Pratasevičius had heart problems.
“Raman has a heart problem, so he didn’t take him to the army. One time he was in a pre-heart attack condition. <...> If he did something to her there, it could have caused a heart attack, ”N. Pratasevič told the Meduza news portal.
He added that he does not yet know in which hospital his son might be.
Soon after, the Belarusian Interior Ministry denied information about Pratasevich’s hospitalization. The Ministry states that R. Pratasevičius is currently in interrogation cell no. 1 in Minsk and no complaints were received about his health.
