The exemption applies only to drivers and their vehicles that carry merchandise on commercial trips.

The SBGS recalls that since May 11 it is possible to travel from Lithuania to Poland for work, business or study. Such persons are not subject to 14-day isolation.

Polish border guards must present evidence of the reasons for the trip. These may include an employment contract with a Polish company, a publication order, an employee certificate, a Polish work permit, company documents, a business certificate proving a business relationship in Poland, a contract with an institution educational card, a student / student certificate, an invitation to a scientific conference and etc.

The final decision on admission to Polish territory is made by the Polish border guards.

It is possible to leave Lithuania for Poland and return through the Kalvarija-Budziska and Lazdijai-Aradninkai border checkpoints.
