Bosnian news portal SCsport.ba contacted S. Kerla, who told him about his future and Vidmantas Murauskas, the president of “Sūduva”, who was looking for someone to sell the club to this mid-season.

“He is an older man who has kept the club at a high level for many years. This year, as in most clubs, there was turmoil in “Sūduva”, so he decided to sell the club, “S. Kerla told journalist Anelis Keiričius.

The midfielder also spoke with V. Murauskas, who offered the footballer to find a new stop in his career.

“We talked. He said he would sell the club on January 15. If he does not find serious investors, he will remain president for another season, but the opportunity to sell the club will remain. I have a contract for another half year, but we agreed that if he found something that I liked it, I could terminate the contract without compensation. ” SCsport.ba quotes S. Kerl.

So now Kerla’s plan is to find a new club in January.

“I will try to change clubs because the future is very uncertain, both for Sūduva and for myself. I played in Bosnia for a long time, but now I don’t think about coming back,” said the defender.

S. Kerla, who previously played for Vilnius Žalgiris, has become the Lithuanian champion five times in total.

In the last season, when “Sūduva” finally finished second, S. Kerla scored five goals in 22 games, plus 6 assists.

“Last year I was the best player in the Lithuanian league, and the good results of the club also contributed to that. This year, I can say that, from an individual point of view, I was perhaps even better,” said S. Kerla.
