  • The courier collection and delivery service for private customers is temporarily suspended. To minimize contact and the potential for coronavirus development, all courier shipments ordered so far will be sent to ATMs without prior notice to the recipient. From now on, private customers can only do so through a post office.
  • All postal items will ONLY be delivered to post offices. In the event that the consignee is in self-isolation, a high-risk group or due to quarantine conditions, the shipment cannot be picked up at the post office, we invite you to show solidarity and ask neighbors or relatives to collect the shipment at the post office.
  • For business customers, courier items will be collected at the specified address and delivered to contactless business addresses.

“Seeing the rapid growth of infection statistics, we decided, without waiting for anything, to start applying the maximum preventive measures until today, not only in the red zone municipalities, but also in the whole of Lithuania. The safety of our employees and customers is the highest priority, ”says Giedrė Vaitekūnaitė, Director of the Operations Department at Omniva LT.

Omniva LT also takes extra precautions: couriers work in disposable masks and gloves, constantly disinfect their hands, and provide services throughout Lithuania. During each visit to the post office, all surfaces of the post office that touch the courier and customers are disinfected.

The company urges people to collect packages from post offices as soon as possible to free up the package compartment and allow another package to be placed in it. Also, despite regular disinfection of the machine, it is advisable to wear gloves when using the machine or to disinfect your hands immediately after using the machine.

With the arrival of the Christmas peak, a new way to collect packages

It is also reported that as the peak of the Christmas season approaches, the company has established additional collection points to which part of the customer’s packages will be sent if the selected post office is overcrowded. The first three additional collection points will start operating in early November at the Šiauliai, Alytus and Marijampolė arenas parking lots. The company will install a total of 21 stops throughout Lithuania.
