The case in Utena County, as announced in the report by the National Center for Public Health, was identified by doctors from the Radiology Department of Utena Hospital, who had not left Lithuania. The case was clarified after preventive examinations by employees. The physician did not communicate with patients due to the nature of the work in this section. A total of 12 contact persons were identified, including 2 family members and 10 Utena Hospital staff members, of whom 6 had close contact. They are currently isolating.
