“Five cases are in Vilnius County, one is in Šiauliai County, which is an imported case,” said the public health specialist.

Two confirmed cases Thursday involve a focus at the Santara clinics.
“These people became infected not in the hospital itself, but during household contact. One is an employee, the other is a person close to the other employee,” said the public health specialist.
Another case was identified for an employee of a sewing company in the Šalčininkai district, according to the specialist, the second person infected in this company.
“It is interesting here, because with these cases in the Šalčininkai district we see connections with the Rudamina market and with the” Humans “warehouse, where the case has already been identified,” said G. Megelinskienė.
Two cases: in a company that is difficult to contact
G. Megelinskienė, a representative of the National Center for Public Health, also stated that the other two cases were registered with a company in the capital, but the circumstances of the infection are unclear and it is difficult to work with the company to find contact persons. .
