Nuclear errors: stray atomic bombs and inadvertent explosions

[ad_1]

Nuclear reactors explode, flood or are affected by earthquakes, the consequence of natural disasters. However, the gunsmiths themselves often … lose those weapons.

The pioneers of nuclear tests, scientists of the Third Reich in Germany, caused the first nuclear incident in the history of the world, when part of the experimental facilities in Leipzig exploded. American scientists at Los Alamos National Laboratory have suffered similar failures when attempting to assemble the tungsten carbide bricks that surround the plutonium core by hand, one of which fell out of hand and set off a nuclear chain reaction. Two incidents, two fatal doses of radiation, scientists died within weeks.

Everything happens in the development of weapons, in experiments, but the “safe handling of new nuclear weapons” did not seem to be a military fortress. In the 1950s alone, there were up to 5 incidents.
