According to the Ministry of Transport and Communications, a passenger arriving on a regular, special or charter flight by air, sea or land must complete an electronic form on the NVSC website before the trip and send the confirmation received, the so-called QR code. (Quick Response), to the carrier when boarding the vehicle. .

This requirement was established by a decision of Aurelijus Veryga, the head of state emergency operations at the state level, the Minister of Health.

“Here, tour operators or carriers already have an obligation to ensure that passengers get into their vehicles after completing the questionnaire from the National Center for Public Health.” … It will facilitate data collection on people returning from countries affected and will ensure they follow the isolation procedure, “Veryga said at a news conference on Friday.

If the person does not have a mobile device or access to the Internet, the carriers or their representatives must make it possible to fill out the electronic questionnaire by the means that they provide.

The Ministry emphasizes that a paper questionnaire can now only be sent in exceptional cases, if it is not possible to do so electronically in the case of land transport for objective reasons, such as interruptions of the Internet connection.

In such cases, carriers must provide a paper questionnaire for passengers to complete, who will submit the completed passenger questionnaires to the NVSC within one day at the latest.

Furthermore, in cases where a person arrives in Lithuania by land transport independently, for example by car, he is obliged to register with the NVSC if he is traveling from or through the affected country. It must be done within 12 hours of arrival.

If you are arriving this way from an unaffected country, only registration is recommended.

The obligation to register does not apply to persons in transit through Lithuania.
