Cases in which the circumstances of people’s infection are unclear, that is, epidemiological studies have shown that people did not go abroad, did not communicate with confirmed cases of COVID-19, currently registered at 175 (of the cases for which epidemiological studies have been carried out).
Cases recorded in outbreaks
Last day 6 cases of coronavirus infection were reported. At the blast at Klara’s nursing home in Kaunas. Cases were approved for 1 employee and 5 residents of these residences.
4 cases were confirmed in the outbreak at the Gedrimai branch of the Telšiai district nursing home. Cases have been confirmed for the residents of these houses.
Two cases of virus infection were also confirmed on Saturday in the Kalvarija Care and Employment Center outbreak. Patient cases have been confirmed at this center.
Last day 3 cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in the focus of the Utena Hospital. Cases approved by health professionals.
In the Plungė District Hospital outbreak, 2 cases were confirmed. One of these confirmed cases is secondary.
In addition, on the last day 2 cases were confirmed at the Tauragė Hospital focus. Here, cases were confirmed per employee and per patient.
On the last day, 3 cases were confirmed in the “Pušelė” kindergarten in Kazlų Rūda. One person became ill while in isolation, the other 2 cases are associated with this outbreak and are secondary. In addition, the 2 cases confirmed on the last day are secondary and related to the fireplace in the Šalčininkai Jan Sniadeckis gym.
Four confirmed cases last day are related to a bakery in the Zarasai district. 3 cases were confirmed to staff and 1 secondary infection in the family was associated with this outbreak.
3 cases were approved in a company that manufactures medical machinery and equipment in Švenčionys district.
Likewise, 3 cases are related to the outbreak in a company dedicated to the production and sale of knitwear in Utena. Cases were approved for 3 employees of this company.
2 cases were approved for employees of a furniture manufacturing company in Kaunas district. In addition, 2 cases confirmed last day are related to the outbreak of a railway infrastructure maintenance company. Cases have been confirmed for employees of this company.
According to currently available data, 118 cases related to outbreaks in families were recorded in Lithuania on the last day.
