According to the press release of the Ministry of Health, a person arriving or returning to Lithuania from a foreign country will be able to present these documents before entering a vehicle that carries passengers on regular, special and charter international routes.
Both certificates are bilingual, prepared in Lithuanian and English. Certificates in English are very useful for anyone traveling abroad, as this document could also be used in countries that have suitable requirements for travelers. However, before going to a particular country, the Ministry recommends that it is necessary to find out which documents are suitable, so that there are no subsequent misunderstandings due to the ever-changing situation.
It is important to note that people who log into your account can send emails. On the health portal at www.esveikata.lt, you can view, download and, if necessary, print these certificates. If it is not possible to connect to the e-health portal (for example, a person does not have an electronic signature or means of authentication through the banking system), it is recommended to ask medical institutions to issue certificates.
In the near future, another certificate functionality will be released – a certificate confirming that the person has already had COVID-19.

The Ministry recalls that these certificates could also serve so that travelers can benefit from the applicable isolation exemptions: in this case, they must present these certificates to the specialists of the National Public Health Center at the airport or seaport so that they do not have to isolate. If the documents are presented at an airport or seaport, the isolation exemption will apply immediately. If the person cannot send these documents immediately, they can send them by email. email address [email protected]. Confirmation of the custom exemption will be sent by email. Pending approval, individuals will be considered isolated individuals.
