The percentage of epidemiological examinations performed per day is 90%, notes the NVSC report.
Cases in which the circumstances of the infection of people are not clear, that is, epidemiological studies have established that people did not go abroad, they were not communicated with confirmed cases of COVID-19, currently 145 are registered.
Cases recorded in outbreaks
On Thursday a new outbreak was registered in the budgetary institution of the Klaipėda district municipality, Sporto Centras. Coronavirus infection was detected in three workers.
A new outbreak was also recorded in the Kaunas “Dvarelis” kindergarten, where COVID-19 was confirmed in two employees last day.
Last day, outbreak-related cases were also reported in Klaipėda City Kindergartens “Pušaitė” and “Eglutė”, in Klaipėda City Medein escuela School. In addition, three cases related to the outbreak were recorded in the kindergarten “Inkar citylis” in the city of Klaipėda (a total of 17 diseases are related to the outbreak, 12 of which are employees and five children; the institution has introduced a regimen restricting the spread of infections from January 29).
Outbreak-related COVID-19 disease cases were also confirmed on the last day in the Traumatology Department of Biržai Hospital, Rokiškis Hospital, Legailiai Residence in Biržai district, Skemai Social Residence in Rokiškis district, Giedruma Residence in Marijampolė, Beriškės district.
The outbreak continues in the Telšiai Department of the State Food and Veterinary Service, where two cases of COVID-19 were recorded last day. Currently, a total of five coronavirus infections are associated with the outbreak.
In addition, on Thursday there were cases, according to epidemiologists, related to outbreaks in the metal processing company Rokiškis, the yarn and fabric production company Biržai, the metal industry company in Panevėžys, the construction company in Marijampolė , the meat industry company in Šakiai district, Visšimo construction company in Telšiai.
