Of the 252 confirmed cases of coronavirus infection (COVID-19), 97 were recorded in Vilnius county. 43 infections were detected in Klaipėda county, 39 in Kaunas and 23 in Šiauliai. Another 20 cases were recorded in Panevėžys, ten in Tauragė, nine in Telšiai, six in Alytus and five in Marijampolė counties, according to data from the National Center for Public Health (NVSC).
Five import cases were recorded: two from Belgium, one from Poland, Ukraine and Russia.
At that time, the circumstances of the infection of 62 people are not clear, i. and Epidemiological studies have shown that people did not travel abroad and did not interact with confirmed COVID-19 cases.
The NVSC reported that the epidemiological diagnosis of 31 cases has not yet begun in Vilnius County, so it is not yet clear under what circumstances these people were infected.

New cases in educational institutions
The outbreaks are associated with 105 cases.
Last day, six cases of coronavirus infection were recorded in Vilnius county, associated with an outbreak in Vilnius kindergarten “Žemyna”, five with a fire in Vilnius Martynas Mažvydas Progymnasium, one of each with outbreaks in Ukmergė Old Town Progymnasium Laičiai Primary School, Vilnius in the gymnasium.

Two more cases in Klaipeda are associated with an outbreak at the Rotary Club, one involving outbreaks at Gilija Primary School, Klaipėda Ernestas Galvanauskas Vocational Training Center, Klaipėda Basketball School and Lithuanian Maritime School.
One case is also related to an outbreak in the Department of Psychiatry at the Klaipeda Seafarers Hospital in Švėkšna.
New chimneys in Vilkija and Kelmė
Three more infections were related to the Blinstrubiškės welfare home in Raseiniai district, two employees and one family member fell ill.
One case of infection is associated with outbreaks at Raseiniai Hospital and Raseiniai Highway Service. Two more infections are associated with the outbreak in the Zapyškis nursing home.
Additionally, three new cases of COVID-19 are linked to the outbreak at the Kaunas Clinics Department of Surgery: two employees and one patient living in Alytus County were infected.
In addition, a new outbreak occurred at the Vilkija Primary Health Care Center in Kaunas district. Here, the infection was confirmed in two workers.
In Šiauliai county, two cases of coronavirus are associated with outbreaks in the Šiauliai “Spindulys” educational center, as well as in the Joniškis “Saulė” basic school day employment center, two cases of the disease were confirmed to employees of the company “Raštuoti mezginiai” operating in Šiauliai.
The coronavirus has been diagnosed in another employee of the Lioliai welfare home, 16 cases have already been confirmed here.
A new chimney was also registered in the district municipality of Kelmė: on Saturday, the coronavirus was confirmed to an employee of the institution.
Furthermore, a case in Šiauliai county may be related to a visit to the “Sanatorija” bar operating in Vilnius.

In Panevėžys County, eight cases are related to the outbreak at Pasvalys Police Station: two employees and six family members became ill.
Six new infections are in the Panevėžys Republican Hospital Infectious Disease Clinic. The disease was confirmed in four patients, one employee, one case was secondary.
In Tauragė County, a case may be related to an outbreak at Jurbarkas Hospital. At that time, in Telšiai county, one case of infection, according to epidemiologists, is related to outbreaks in the elderly Šateikiai of Plung distrito district and at the Technoexport Storage company operating in Plungė.
COVID-19 has been established for five more residents of Marijampolė special social care homes. There are already 25 cases of infection in this outbreak: 18 people and 7 workers have been infected.
In Lithuania, a total of 7,521 cases of the COVID-19 disease have been confirmed, 4,276 people are still ill and 3,097 have recovered.
