Žirgyno st. 39, Bendoriai, Vilnius district. – A new residential neighborhood is planned at this address on the outskirts of Vilnius.

The project proposals submitted to the Municipality of Vilnius state that apartment buildings of three or more apartments will be built here.

The 362 apartments are programmed to have two or more bedrooms and the 8 apartments will be one bedroom. There are also roof terraces in some of the apartments.

“Energy efficiency class of projected residential buildings” The design and certification of buildings “will be designed with an energy efficiency class not lower than A +”, establishes the proposal.

It is explained that together with the emerging buildings, the layout of the plot, the gardening, the installation of access sidewalks and the path are being designed.

There will also be two accesses to the plot from the south, and within the plot a D2 category street will be designed with 370 parking spaces.

The area is planned to be planted, playgrounds will be built, a sports field for adolescents and, as explained, a quiet resting place for the elderly. A body of water is also being designed on the plot.

“Sources of financing for construction and design – private funds,” the proposals state.

Project developer – UAB Ramig.

The director of the company, Ivan Šiška, told Delfi that there is still a long way to go before the start of construction on the project. First, the proposal must be approved by the Vilnius district municipality, and then detailed design work would start.

“We believe it will be at least another year before construction begins.

Everything can change, it is the initial stage, the initial procedure ”, he said.

Asked about how much investment it would take to build a room with 370 apartments, the manager said that everything would become clear in the course of knowing what vision of the project would be approved.

“It will take a very large investment, estimated at 5 million euros or more,” he said.

Speaking about the rapidly expanding settlements around and the formation of ever-increasing traffic jams on Old Ukmergė Road, I. Šiška said that this issue will also be discussed with the municipality.

“It just came to our attention then. But the first thing to decide about traffic jams is self-government,” he said.

According to the manager, there should already be more clarity about the origin of the settlement in the fall.
