Last day, 735 cases of coronavirus infection were confirmed in Lithuania, 21 of them in Alytus County, according to the National Center for Public Health (NVSC).
The latest cases recorded in Alytus County are mainly related to outbreaks at the Varėna ambulance station, the Varėna branch in Sodra and the Žilvičius kindergarten in Varėna.
Previously, COVID-19 was diagnosed in one of the employees of the Department of Social Support of the District Municipality of Varėna, and colleagues and relatives who had close contact with him were isolated.
Other coronavirus patients in Varėna were city residents, members of a family, and their illness is related to the previously established case of COVID-19 at Žilviitis kindergarten in Varėna.
Another case of the disease was diagnosed in Varėna, where she was admitted to the internal medicine isolation ward of the local hospital and transferred to the Santara clinics in Vilnius for further treatment.
Alytus was still free. It is also imperative that they color and impose restrictions.
