The Department of Statistics indicates that “the number of deaths in the last day is preliminary and increases between 20 and 40 percent in a few days.”

Of the four previously reported coronavirus deaths included in overall mortality statistics, two were men and two were women. Two of them were between 70 and 79 years old, and one died in the 60-69 and 90-99 age groups.

A total of 2,716 people died from coronavirus.
