Milan team: incorrect COVID-19 tests, waiting for the arrival of “Žalgiris”

It all started on Monday, November 9, when several members of the Armani team tested positive for coronavirus. The Milan Public Health Organization immediately ordered the isolation of the entire team.

However, the large number of positive results and unexplained symptoms put the Armani club doctor in doubt and he shared it with the doctors in charge of the Euroleague basketball.

According to the protocol, if the club doubts the results obtained, the individuals must be examined twice during two consecutive days. If the second and third tests are negative, the person is declared healthy and can continue participating in the activity without any restrictions.

After a third negative test for team members on November 13, the Milan Public Health Organization lifted Armani’s quarantine because all team members were healthy.

E. Messina’s pupils will play at home with Crvena Zvezda in Belgrade and Žalgiris in Kaunas this double week of the Euroleague on November 18 and 20, respectively.
