He is one of the 6 MPs whose blood did not show any antibodies formed after vaccination.

“Of course, it is more fun to know that there are antibodies, that there are many. But let’s not underestimate that in my case. Someone has to also represent that negative part of the vaccination statistics. Nobody says that the effect of vaccines is 100 percent. And looking at the results of the survey of Seimas members in general, I would say that they should be optimistic. It follows that the positive effects of the vaccine exceed 90 percent. Of those 6 members of the Seimas that do not have antibodies, there may be some that have not been vaccinated, ”J. Razma told LNK.

The politician said that the example of the Seimas members should encourage people to get vaccinated.

Razma said that she did not experience any major side effects after the first AstraZeneca vaccine. His head hurt, he was spinning, but a Seimas member said he couldn’t be 100 percent guaranteed it was a side effect of the vaccine.

Claimed the next generation of antibody testing.

“It just came to our attention then. In an effort to be safe, I will wait for that second vaccine, hoping that the response will be better,” he said.

On Thursday, the Seimas members will be invited again for blood tests.

Spokesperson of the Seimas: 70 members of the Seimas have antibodies

Of the 76 MPs who conducted antibody tests last week, 70 Seimas members have antibodies and 6 do not.

These data were presented by Seimas spokesperson Viktorija Čmilytė – Nielsen on Tuesday at the Elders’ Conference.

Who does not have antibodies The owner of the Seimas refused to elaborate, but this was not hidden by the already vaccinated First Vice President of the Seimas J. Razma.

“An example is me, I was vaccinated and the antibodies are zero,” he said.

Such a discussion at the Conference of Elders arose after Andrius Mazuronis, the vice president of the Seimas “employee”, once again proposed to the Seimas to return to the usual procedure, by voting after the adoption of each legal act.

At the moment, the president of the Seimas Viktorija Čmilytė-Nielsen is skeptical about the proposal to return to the normal organization of work, as information has been received about the critical number of beds in Vilnius. “The situation is not easy and to begin to free ourselves from the Seimas, to return to the usual rhythm of work, I think it would be irresponsible,” he said at the meeting of elders.

The Parliament spokeswoman stated that she had communicated with the spokespersons of the Baltic and Nordic parliaments.

“None of the parliaments of the countries around us works on a regular basis. There is no such example when looking at neighboring countries, ”said V. Čmilytė – Nielsen.

Incidentally, the fact that the Seimas does not plan to return to the regular work of the Seimas until now, confirmed to reporters at the Seimas on Tuesday.

“We are not considering going back to regular Seimas work yet,” said V. Čmilytė-Nielsen.

A. Mazuronis noted that sports bars and clubs have already been vacated. “For some reason, we cannot release Seimas activities, even if it is 90 percent. they have immunity from appointed parliamentarians “, – the politician was angry about the meeting of the elders.

As just over half of the parliamentarians have undergone antibody tests, according to the president of Seimas, this Thursday will be an opportunity for those who have not yet done it to do so again.
