The university management justifies that it allegedly received an official letter on the case of the coronavirus from the National Center for Public Health on Thursday, and security measures were taken during the visit.
“According to our data, the person visited a job during the contagious period, where he interacted with five colleagues. All of these individuals are also isolated. As for the lectures, the person gives lectures, but does so remotely, so no student was at risk and isolation was not applied, ”commented Justina Petravičienė, Communication Specialist at the National Center for Public Health.
The VU representative, Evinas Spūdys, commented that all actions that had been agreed with the NVSC had been taken.
“The premises have been disinfected. There were no threats. The employee also had no contact with the people who organized the visit and participated in it. (…) It is not reported since there may be more than two cases of this type. So far, no we have had to report on such a practice in all cases ”, said E. Spūdys.
