According to Info TV, both the manager and the kitchen and administrative staff received the vaccinations at the Anykčiai Spa, which is currently closed.

Relations with the Minister of Social Security and Labor

SPA centers located in three cities – Vilnius, Druskininkai and Anykščiai – are associated with the name “SPA Vilnius”. It was the staff of Anykčiai SPA who was vaccinated last week.

According to Info TV, before becoming a politician in 2004-2006, the current Minister of Social Security and Labor, Monika Navickienė, worked for Raminora, who currently owns SPA Vilnius Druskininkai. The current leader of this company is the husband of M. Navickienė, brother of Mindaugas Navickas, Rokas Navickas.

“These are unlikely to be coincidences, all the more so since facility managers are responsible for compiling lists and figuring out what and where to vaccinate. Even more so because it is not the first time that we see owners or administrators participating in one way or another ”, commented on the situation a peasant representative, the former Minister of Health Aurelijs Veryga.

The accusations are rejected

Ms. Navickienė’s spokesperson, Tomas Kavaliauskas, told Info TV that these are just derivations from the opposition that have nothing to do with the truth.

“The Minister does not form a queue or set priorities in any way or form. What and when to vaccinate is determined only by the head of the emergency management commission.

In her activities, Ms. Navickienė follows only Western standards of transparency and ethics. So such unsubstantiated conclusions not only hurt, they hurt, “he said.
