Mantas, who performs in shows, creates websites and has nearly three hundred thousand followers on Instagram, performs unexpected activities.
“Together with like-minded people, we have created a virtual school” Digital Classroom “, where we give each student the opportunity to improve and achieve better academic results,” said a representative of the entertainment business.
Pushed by parental concern
Watching Cecilia, entering second grade, and preparing for Francis, the actor increasingly faces the educational system and the problems that arise in it. Although the son and daughter are still in elementary school, the comedian looks at education without humor.
“Seeing that the children are similar to me and my mother in my journey, I want them to learn to think rationally in school and acquire a solid foundation in mathematics, physics, chemistry, which was the most difficult for me,” said Mantas , leading both children to intimacy. a school with a strong orientation in engineering and technology.
The host of events and shows is already thinking about the next stage of education: the gym. According to Manto, the royal school does not start in first grade.
“Everything is accelerating from the fifth grade, when the teachers no longer come to the classroom, and the child has to decide for himself what independent skills he will develop,” Mantas admitted about the fearful future.
But the humorist who creates the virtual school is convinced that if you prepare well, the future should not be intimidating.
The eyes were opened and quarantined.
The pandemic that affected the entire world did not escape the Mantas Stonkus family either – during the quarantine the school had to improvise at home.
“It was a great challenge, because my first-time learning skills are still developing, and suddenly I had to become a teacher without any experience or teaching methodology,” recalls Mantas, a difficult period.
However, the father of two, who assumed the role of teacher during the quarantine, realized how difficult the profession was.
“While teaching my son fifty million times, I went through the school schedule from a teacher’s perspective. I remembered how we were students: we didn’t listen, we yelled, we were mischievous, they seemed like innocent children’s games. However, it is a lot of stress for the teacher ”, the actor is convinced and says that he cannot imagine how people who work in schools cope with such emotional and physical tension.
“I bow my head to the teachers, remembering what the demons had to deal with,” says Mantas, adding that nothing has changed at school even now: Teachers have to deal with large flows of children. and there is very little time left to answer everyone’s questions.
Aims to help both students and teachers
The TV host, along with his brother Silvester and other like-minded people, solves the problems of busy teachers, students lacking personal attention, and other school problems by creating a new virtual school.
The “Digiklass” system enables teachers to pay the highest salaries in Lithuania, thus attracting only motivated specialists in their field to the virtual school. “Our biology teacher has discovered 4 viruses, and the average state maturity test for his students is 93%,” said a famous man.

The traditional lesson format is also abandoned in virtual school: creative LIVE lessons are held here, and blackboard and chalk are replaced by smart technologies that help students in grades 8-12 to more easily master the content of the lessons.
Unlike in school, in the digital classroom, every raised hand is noticed and everyone’s questions are answered. The starter team encourages connection and sincere caring, and there is a strong sense of community in the virtual school. “We not only listen to the needs of the student, but we also provide the opportunity to contribute to decisions and changes,” Mantas defined the concept of the new school.
Right here, the comedian mentioned that in a virtual school, the first-rate academic curriculum is available for only € 16 per month. Mantas also emphasized another advantage of his startup: “Digiklasė” is everywhere there is the Internet. Students can attend LIVE lessons while sitting at home on the couch or in the old town cafeteria.
