Maria Elena Cappello has joined the Luminor Bank Supervisory Board. took office on July 1.
Mr. Capello has more than 25 years of leadership experience in digital technology, international marketing and business strategy, and has initiated and implemented important corporate change and process optimization projects. Ms. Capello has held senior positions at Nokia Siemens Networks, chaired the risk, liability and remuneration committees of Italian bank Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena, and is currently a member of the boards of Telecom Italia, Saipem and Prysmian, according to the report.
Mr. Capello is a member of the Working Group on Climate Change at the World Economic Forum.
