Ukraine’s real estate business, linked to the country’s pro-Russian forces and former President Viktor Yanukovych, is backing two real estate projects in central Vilnius, LRT’s research department said on Monday.
The construction of the Core office building and the already constructed Link business center are officially connected and are being developed by Baltijos Gildija, but according to the LRT Research Department, the money actually flows from the deepest pockets of the elite of Ukraine towards the capital’s large offshore projects. .
The article claims that Koksi Holding Ltd, a Cyprus-based company, is behind the million dollar transfers related to the Link and Core business centers, and its owner’s ties lead to the Ukrainian elite.
Another Ukrainian, whose relatives are still known in Ukraine as close trustees of Yanukovych, and whose political career links them to the more pro-Kremlin forces in Ukraine, is also involved in the development of shopping malls.
