Low-cost airlines have returned to Kaunas airport

Hungarian airline Wizz Air already operates flights to / from Bergen, Eindhoven, Alesund, Stavanger, Turku and London airports.

Meanwhile, Irish airline Ryanair flies to / from Dublin and London airports. Ryanair plans to further improve in the near future: flights to / from Alicante, Bristol, Edinburgh, London, Milan, Naples, Mallorca, Paphos, Rhodes and Shannon.

Following the resumption of flights, additional security measures have been introduced at the airport and new regulations apply. We remind you that after the end of the quarantine, wear protective face masks for people over 6 years old. it remains mandatory for passengers at Lithuanian airports. The masks can be used temporarily in cafes and restaurants at airports.

Those who wish to return to or arrive in Lithuania from countries affected by coronavirus must also register within 24 hours by sending their data to the National Center for Public Health (NVSC). These people must be isolated for 14 days, even if they have been in transit through the affected country.

The Ministry of Health publishes a list of countries from which foreigners can enter Lithuania without restrictions as of June 29. It is true that those coming from the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Romania, Bulgaria and Luxembourg will be advised to isolate themselves.

In total, 70 destinations have returned to Lithuanian airports since July. These should include two new ones: flights to Dubrovnik and London Gatwick Airport.
