Mantas Rameika, director of the Registration Center’s Information Technology Center, says the electronic health database is very large, so the process can take several days.
“The Registry Center team worked all weekend, overnight, unfortunately, we were stuck in the last step, we will try to contact the manufacturer for help,” a representative from the Registry Center told LRT radio.
“It just caught our eye then. If the database was smaller, it would be possible to do it faster, but now every move takes days,” he explained.
However, M. Rameika is convinced that “the situation can still be corrected, it is only a matter of time.”
“We have backups and we think they are good.” Just by restoring the production system, we are breaking into the last step, “he said.
After the rain in Vilnius, the server of the Records Center was filled with a pipe on Monday night. As a result, many of the company’s systems were disrupted.
