J.Čepulionis parents go to America
J.Čepulionis’s parents, Jurgis and Magdalena, were born in Lithuania. The genealogy web pages contain information that the father was born in 1859 and the mother in 1860. It is not known if this information is completely reliable.
After 1863-1864. The failures of the uprising led many Lithuanians, fleeing deprivation, the threat of deportation to Siberia and the search for a better life, to go to America in search of happiness in the coal mines, which later attracted immigrants from all over the world.
