During the last day, 32 new cases of coronavirus were detected in Lithuania, 2 of which are imported, reports the Ministry of Health (SAM).
A total of 3,163 cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in the country. In 2008, people recovered from the disease and 1,056 fell ill. Currently 6,867 people need to be isolated.
Starting June 1. 214 import cases were registered, of which 2 were identified during the previous day.
86 people also died of coronavirus in Lithuania. Thirteen people died from other causes despite being infected with COVID-19.
The National Public Health Center (NVSC) reports in the report that during the last day 14 new cases were registered in Vilnius, 7 in Klaipėda, 6 in Kaunas, 3 in Šiauliai, 1 in each of Alytus and Tauragė counties.
