The respirator will have to be delivered within two months by the Essmedi company, with which on August 19. The contract was signed by the Health Emergencies Center of the Ministry of Health.
In mid-July, the transportation of personal protective equipment to Lithuania was completed and purchased from China in early March.
In total, according to the Ministry, almost 900 tons of personal protective equipment were delivered to Lithuania in six months: 600 tons by air and 300 tons by rail.
The state reserve for the health system is expected to last for three months, as well as at least one month, medical institutions and municipal administrations required to purchase protective equipment.
