The new chain of stores stands out for its location and is convenient not only for residents of the Šilainiai, Vytėnai or Domeikava district in Kaunas, but also for passersby. The store is located next to the A1 Vilnius – Klaipėda highway, making it easily accessible for passersby in the direction of Klaipėda, as well as the developed infrastructure will allow customers coming from Klaipėda or Marijampolė to comfortably reach the store.
The store will be waiting for customers every day and will operate during normal business hours, from 8 am to 10 pm. This Lidl store will be the ninth in Kaunas.
Opening day: a celebration throughout Lithuania
The new Lidl store welcomed customers from the early hours with a festive bustle. Shoppers at the new store were able to take advantage of the special opening offers to enjoy Berlin donuts, drinks and ice cream.
On the occasion of the opening of the 50th store, the retail chain invited customers from all over Lithuania to celebrate. In the 50 stores located in the country from 11 am ice cream was distributed to customers and the entire retail chain distributed 50,000 servings of ice cream on the opening day.
Currently, Lidl stores operate in 20 cities in the country: Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipėda, Šiauliai, Alytus, Marijampolė, Kėdainiai, Telšiai, Kretinga, Mažeikiai, Tauragė, Jonava, Panevėžys, UkmergŠ, Utenai, Plungė, Plungė, Utenai.
