Specialists from the Latvian Ministry of Health this week asked the Kaunas City Polyclinic to share their experience in organizing vaccination against the COVID-19 disease. It was agreed to hold a discussion at a distance, at a distance, which will be attended by Estonian colleagues in charge of vaccination.
ELTA announced that Kaunas manages to vaccinate the population against coronavirus infection faster than in other Lithuanian cities. Based on the volume of vaccination, Kaunas residents are 2-3 percentage points ahead of others.
Paulius Kibiša, head of the Kaunas Municipal Polyclinic responsible for vaccination, interviewed by ELTOS this Wednesday, mentioned for the first time the fact that the vaccination process of the population, with the help of many volunteers, is carried out in a center special vaccination created by Municipality of the city of Kaunas.

Soon, when the representatives of the three countries agree on the date for the remote discussion, we will be happy to share our experience with Latvians and Estonians as well.
“In this way, the flows of people who want to be vaccinated are better regulated, without overloading the polyclinic’s inpatient units, which can carry out their usual tasks without hindrance, taking care of the population’s primary health care. The fact that we have purchased an excellent vaccination subsystem, which serves for the registration and monitoring of the process, also helps to ensure a better vaccination process. Everyone is happy that the electronic vaccine registration system has proven its worth, as anyone can register themselves or their loved ones online to receive vaccines. We were the first in the country to start using such a system, ”said P. Kibiša.
“Like and what we do for a more fluid vaccination, we often tell colleagues who contact us from other cities or district municipalities in Lithuania. And soon, when the representatives of the three countries agree on the date for the remote discussion, we will be happy to share our experience with Latvians and Estonians as well, ”said P. Kibiša, director of the Kaunas Polyclinic established by the municipality of the city of Kaunas. .
