President Gitanas Nausėda on Wednesday expressed the expectation that the newly elected Seimas will come to power with a Covid-19 governance plan. I. Šimonytė ensures that such a plan will be prepared in the near future.

“We intend to do that, we intend to consult with experts, scientists, data analysts, process management specialists. We cannot prepare a plan for December 9, being October 28. We will try to develop that plan, that it would be like a moving target, easily adaptable to the development of the situation and easy to implement ”, said the candidate for prime minister.

On Wednesday a meeting of the Party Presidium was held in the Seimas, during which the Conservatives discussed the political situation and the principles for forming the ruling coalition and priority works for the near future.
