Klaipeda and jazz are probably inseparable. In 2014, to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Klaipėda Castle Jazz Festival, one of the buildings was decorated with a jazz fresco created by artists from Klaipėda. It features the most famous jazz stars in the world and Lithuania, who have performed at the festival for two decades.

The “Edit Klaipeda Street Art” festival held in Klaipeda in 2017 left a fun memory. The artist ABran (Artiom Brancel) turned the ghost house on Liepų Street into a work of art. Various drawings can be seen in the white painted house.

140 hours – that’s how long it took Eglė San Sansches from Klaipėda in the summer of 2019 to make an impressive drawing in the courtyard of the house marked 43 on Dan ens street in the port city. The 5 meter long and 2 meter high drawing reflects the motifs of the port city. “It took 15 brushes, I used a few liters of paint,” said the girl about the creative process.

In 2017, Klaipeda Sea Freight Company Bega, celebrating the 25th anniversary of its activity, presented the city with a panorama of the seaport on the facade of the company building.

The authors of the work are the brothers Algirdas and Remigijus Készeckai. They drew the fresh “Girl” in the house on Šaulių street. This is another social initiative. Promote adoption. The drawing is expected to reach people who can.

The authors of this work are street artists Edvardas Šeputis-Shepa and Tadas Vincaitis-Plūgas. Since 2015, the building of the Klaipėda branch of the Vilnius Academy of Arts on Daržų Street has been decorated with a two-part neo-fresco called “Dream”.

2004 Lithuania’s accession to the European Union was marked with a beautiful gesture: the Klaipėda municipality ordered a decorative plan of the old town. It was renovated in 2017 at the initiative of Rotarians in Klaipeda.
