During the reconstruction of the square, about 15 old damaged trees were cut down, but about 50 new trees, shrubs and other plants were replanted. In one place, under the trees, special columns have been prepared, to which, according to V. Bubele, hammocks can be placed.
“The whole square will be full of attractions, from gyms, playgrounds, lounges, fountain shows, free internet, entertainment with bicycles, skates, skateboards. There will be activities for everyone, from a child to an elderly person,” said V. Bubelė al Western Express.

According to the construction manager, there were those who wanted to test the unfinished park, so safety had to be guaranteed.
