– I think he agreed pretty well. The main thing is that today we have achieved what we wanted to achieve. I mean, we had 4 days, so we executed even such small moments in attack quite accurately. The defense system that we wanted to defend against Lietkabelis also worked in defense.
– What is your relationship with the ex-husband? coach David Gale? Do you think they will go out to work together?
– I think it will work. David is a very promising young coach with very interesting qualities. Only the style of play that he knows well did not fit Lithuania. It was a small mistake that he made at some point. This in no way makes you a bad coach, or a coach who cannot achieve his goals. The fact that he remained here in such a situation shows his respective qualities as a human. He knows how to accept situations, he knows how to grow and I am glad that he is on our team.
– How different was the preparation for the match when you learned that Lietkabelis did not have Vytenis Lipkevičius, Margiris Normantas and Džordžė Gagičius?
– It is so different that there are not three players. You prepare tactfully as they don’t. Without them, the tactical preparations would be different. It was a natural preparation for the match.
– Did anyone tactically surprise Nenad Chanak today?
– I don’t think they had the opportunity to be surprised because they played a game recently. He probably had a day off and trained the next day and then had a match with us so he didn’t have much of a chance to show something new.
– How much surprise did Tadas Vaičiūnas have tonight?
