Planned traffic restrictions will be announced separately. Estimated duration of the works: 30 months.
It is planned to rebuild the section of the Šilutė highway from Dubysa Street to the southern entrance to the territory of the shopping center. The Baltijos Avenue section will be rebuilt from the edge of the car showroom parcel to the roundabout, then across the overpass onto the main highway A1, starting with the rail viaduct. During the reconstruction, the turn to Dubysa street will be closed, the roundabout will be transformed into a turbo ring.
During reconstruction work, the roundabout is not intended to be closed, but only one of the three lanes is allowed. During construction, drivers will be advised to avoid this entrance to Klaipeda, especially since the maintenance of other main roads in the city must be completed before the start of the roundabout, and there should be no further traffic restrictions.
