Kaunas closes again: police posts will be on the roads from Wednesday afternoon

Odeta Vaitkevičienė, spokesperson for the Kaunas County Police Chief Commissariat, confirmed that officers were preparing for the closure of the second city.

Already on Wednesday at 1 pm Police stations will be operational on the roads leading to the city, all drivers will be controlled and the purpose of the trip will be requested to be confirmed.

It was previously announced that police positions will be available starting December 23. 1 pm will run up to 27 days. 9 p.m. The city will also be closed as of December 31. 1 pm until January 3. 9 pm

The following roads leading to Kaunas have been blocked by blocks until January 4:
