On Wednesday, Professor Vytautas Kasiulevičius shared an inspiring message on his Facebook account: Lithuanian Tumas Beinortas, a physician at Cambridge University Hospital, became a volunteer and agreed to participate in the Covid-19 vaccine trial.

The doctor himself shared the news that he had become a “number 2” participant in the program and said he would not know what type of vaccine he had received until the end of the trial.
“The antibody tests will be done every week,” wrote Beinort.
V. Kasiulevičius, who shared this message on his account, was happy with his colleague’s decision.
“Tumas Beinort is vaccinated in the United Kingdom with an experimental SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus vaccine. The second voluntary Oxford vaccine in the world. I hope Tumas feels good. And I hope the tests are successful. The battle for Britain and for humanity continues. “
He also thanked him for his sacrifice.
