Now Kandrotas has found himself under the scrutiny of law enforcement. He is one of the suspects in a case of riots near the Seimas on August 10, due to an incident in Kaunas “Akropolis”, when the police tried to enter without a mask and passport. The police are also investigating whether he legally used a luxury Jaguar car with diplomatic numbers that law enforcement knows belong to the Order of Malta.

It is also a great puzzle for the representatives of this world famous charity. The Order of Malta Embassy in Lithuania admitted receiving calls from the police, but no one understands how this person could have received diplomatic numbers.

Outraged by the decision to seize money for children

On September 16, after information was released in the public area that the police were conducting another search at Kandrot’s house and taking money to support his children, Celofan agreed to give an interview to the Delfi portal and state his position. . He also spoke of a car that generated much speculation with the diplomatic numbers of the Order of Malta.

“The search was carried out much earlier,” Kandrotas said, referring to a visit by police officers who delivered the prosecutor’s decision to seize the money found during his arrest on September 8.

According to A. Kandrotas, the origin of that money, 475 euros, can be justified. These funds are received from child benefits paid by the state.

“Suddenly the decision is made that the money that is not even mine, but for the child’s education, the help that is needed, is simply withheld. That’s a big enough amount that the whole family can eat a week for that money. For some reason, the prosecution decided to take the money, ”A. Kandrotas told the Delfi portal and promised, together with his lawyers, to appeal the prosecutors’ decision to arrest the money in court.

Guilty security guards for letting you in without a mask?

Cellophane also presented his position on the administrative proceedings for minor offenses initiated by police officers, when he tried to enter the “Acropolis” of Kaunas without a passport and mask. A. Kandrotas could not enter, the glasses that he went to pick up at the supermarket’s optician were taken out and delivered by the employees, but the fact that A. Kandrotas was inside and in conflict with the security guards was a protective mask.

Kandrotas and assured that people who have stepped on the threshold in this way can become potential offenders.

The performance on the Acropolis is not called provocation, but only “coincidence”

Cellophan mentioned that the Government Resolution establishes that it is not possible to attend and provide services to people without a passport.

“But I can’t go to the bathroom, do it somewhere outside? Why is my ability to go to the bathroom restricted? Because you won’t find a lot of public toilets in Kaunas, ”said A. Kandrotas, explaining that there are many passed resolutions and legal acts.

He recalled hearing from police officers that the law was superior to a government decree and was surprised that the security guards were following lower legislation.

Kandrot said that he would certainly complain to the lawyer after receiving an administrative infraction report from the police.

“We will try to go through all judicial instances, because I feel good, the ruling contradicts the ruling,” said Celofan.
